Our long hiatus . . .

Due to work schedules and difficulties finding mutually acceptable times and meeting places PNK remains on hold. We are all still actively working in the mental health field in Greater Cincinnati. For one useful resource

Colleagues, below are the announcement for our next meeting and minutes from our last. I'm posting as a web log (blog) so we'll have easy online access to information. --John Burik

Hi!

Professionals Networking for Kids next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 8 a.m. at Rileys in Green Hills.

Barbara DeSalvo has agreed to make a short presentation on what she and her staff do.

At the October 30, 2003 meeting, the group decided to re-form. PNK will meet monthly and its main purpose will be to form a referral service network geared to assisting children and parents to get the help they need.

Eventually we hope to put together a directory that will include a host of area agencies and professionals who offer services to children.

Each current member is urged to invite a new member - a professional who works with or for kids - to join our meeting.

I've agreed to be the secretary and take minutes at the meetings. Please respond to the email so that I'm sure you've received it.
